Seasonal Hair Changes

How do I get this hair?

Well the Sydney autumn weather is playing havoc with everyone so far as we just don’t know what weather to dress for, or how many layers to bring. A question we get asked a lot at this time of year is whether clients should think about changing their hair colour to go with the seasonal changes. For example, people with blond hair ask about putting some low-lights (darker foils) in their hair, while brunettes tend more towards adding warmer and richer tones. So what do we recommend at our hair salon for our clients??

Firstly we recommend that you talk with your hairdresser or colorist about suggestions they may have. While the paragraph above gives ideas of what you can do, your hairdresser will know what works for each individual. They will know what tones suit your hair and your complexion.

Secondly it’s great to have a change but always discuss with your stylist about the color choice you want to make this time and how easy/difficult it will be if you want to go back to your current color come spring/summer.

Thirdly keep in mind changing colors and a change in weather can be a great opportunity to try a different shampoo that your stylist can recommend. For example if you add a few foils we suggest Lumino Contrast in the L’Oreal Professionnel range. Lumino helps to accentuate any highlights to stand out amongst the rest of your hair. If you have added more richness or warmth then the Vitamino Color range in L’Oreal Professionnel adds longevity to your color, keeping the gloss and shine for longer.

If you would like advice and some ideas on what we can achieve with your hair for you, whether adding foils, low-lights or just a healthy gloss why not call our bondi junction hair salon and make a booking on (02) 9389 9505 for a complimentary consultation. Consultations usually take around 15 minutes, are complimentary and with no obligation to book afterwards.
